What is the QR code for in the ticket?

Hi am testing Attendize and cannot see what the QR is for. I scan it and receive a string, which I do not see anywhere else in the admin panel. So I don't see how it relates to check-ins.

Can someone help me find out how to validate tickets with the QR code?
